Originally released as part of the label's Summer 2021 compilation EP, Saiful Idris' 'Sundown' gets its own time in the sun as a standalone release. A deep house beauty that blends together the sounds and flavours of Latin jazz and progressive house in a seamless cocktail, 'Sundown' is characterised by tango-inspired bassline, percussions and strings as well as an array of arpeggiated synths and electronic textures. The off-sync and syncopated piano keys create a sense of tension and drama, while the wafting, melodic lead offers a sensuous release. A song that is not only a great soundtrack for a balmy sunset but the end of a momentous summer.
